*DOWNLOAD FOR EFFIN' HUGENESS*
EDIT: Tried to tone down the glow on the skin and change the tone a wee bit. Thanks to *Takafutoku and ~llawliet-ryuzaki for the great input!  Matty in his safehouse, playing his pink DS, drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon and eating Mickey D's. Yeppers. This piece is a gift to my wonderful Matty-wife  . The image itself is based on the cosplay pic she gifted to me with her as Matt: [link] I you and I hope you like it. It is mah tribute to your smexy Mattehness!This was created in Photoshop. I printed and traced the general outline of the original pose, and used the transform tools to account for perspective. Everything else about Matt was painted and shaded in, with some liberties taken, but I tried to stay true to the original because she rocked that Matt pose so hard! I normally wouldn't trace the outline, but I am feeling super lazy. Forgive me?  The background is a stock photograph [link] by  The McDonalds bag, beer cans and Matt's car are photo manips from random non-copyrighted photographs (you can see how crap my photo manips skills are...not exactly seamless). The Pink DS was inspired by a cosplay picture of my lovely friend, and smexy Matteh  This was a challenge to do because of the dark atmosphere and lighting. If you take color point samples from this piece, you will see that I was working mostly in grays so color selection was really difficult and time consuming. I feel that his skin tone may be too sallow, but I had a hard time making him appear to be seated in dim lighting without going toward the darker tones. Thanks to my comrade  for offering her help and opinion when it came time to finalize this piece. I appreciate you taking the time, you rock! lol Lovin' the fact that he has a pink DS.
The lighting looks pretty damn good. Yeah, his skin is a bit, well not sallow, but a bit shiny? BUT, who cares if his skin is a little off, it really doesn't subtract from the picture at all.

I'm glad you don't think the skin is too distracting, it gave me such trouble that I almost didn't post this. I was trying to make it look like the glow from the DS screen was reflecting off of his face, but I wasn't able to make it work, so I got this far and gave up. Lighting is something I have to work on and study.
I'm glad that you like the photo manip pictures because I'm addicted to doing them. Also, Matt and Mello are so much fun because of the settings I imagine that they would occupy.

I bet if Mello was there, he would light up some candles to make the atmosphere more romantic. Then again, the man was out and about on some Mafia business... I guess he wouldn't wanna light the candles and risked having Matt clumsily knock them over while being deeply engaged in a really tough game. XD

Oh, well I'm so glad it didn't push to to the point of not posting it! It's a really good picture!
Ah, my advice: with the way the DS is facing, I would say the shinier/lighted parts would be more towards his chest then gradually works its way up towards his face. And possibly a bit of a reflection in his goggles? Maybe that'll help slightly, (though I'm no good with lighting myself), if you do decided to fix it later. C:

Matt's a serious gamer, so I doubt he cooks. I think he probably lives off only energy drinks, beer, cigarettes and junk food (oh..and Mello sex too, we can't forget about that).
